Dark Chocolate Salted Matcha Popcorn

This is the snack that gets requested at every gathering. Freshly popped corn gets tossed in garlic butter, loaded with parmesan, mozzarella, and pepperoni, then baked until the cheese is melted and golden. It's salty, cheesy, crispy at the edges, and tastes exactly like pizza in snack form. Ready in under 20 minutes and impossible to stop eating.
Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
Spread the cooked popcorn out in a single layer on the prepared tray.
Drizzle the melted butter over the popcorn, then sprinkle over the parmesan, oregano, and garlic powder. Toss gently to coat.
Scatter the grated mozzarella and chopped pepperoni evenly over the top.
Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and starting to turn golden at the edges.
Finish with a scatter of salt flakes and serve immediately straight from the tray.
Kitchen Notes
Keep a close eye on it in the oven — the cheese can go from golden to burnt quickly. For extra flavour, add a pinch of chilli flakes or a drizzle of chilli oil before serving. Best eaten fresh from the oven while the cheese is still melty.
